Environments & Base URLs

Target the right environment for testing and production deployments.

Tumr uses a single public API host; test mode is controlled by your API key, not a separate environment.

| Environment | Base URL | Description | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Production | https://api.tumr.app/api/v1 | The only public API host. | | Test mode | https://api.tumr.app/api/v1 | Use a tumr_test_ key against the same host. Objects created in test mode are flagged is_test and never trigger real dispatch or settlement. | | Local Development | http://127.0.0.1:8000/api/v1 | A locally running backend instance. |

Headers Standard

All requests sent to the Tumr REST API should specify standard content headers:

Host: api.tumr.app Content-Type: application/json Accept: application/json Authorization: ApiKey tumr_live_...

Idempotency Keys (Recommended for POST requests) To prevent duplicate orders caused by network dropouts or client retries, supply an Idempotency-Key header:

Idempotency-Key: ord_771928_attempt_1

If a request repeats an Idempotency-Key that was already processed, Tumr returns the original result instead of creating a duplicate order or charging the wallet twice.
